Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who will be see in Gauri Shinde’s next film along with Alia Bhatt, says he has shot for 49 days for it so he “must be having a good role”.

Is Shah Rukh doing a cameo in Shinde’s next?

“I should think it’s a proper role…The film is a little different from my other Hindi films. Most of my scenes are with Alia so, I keep coming in. It’s not a hero-heroine type of a film.

“It’s a different slice-of-life kind of a film. It’s a different film for me because it’s not a typical ‘lead lead’ as such. I have shot for 49 days so, I must be having a good role,” SRK told IANS.

The film is jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions. This will be Shinde’s second directorial after the critically and commercially successful “English Vinglish” (released in 2012).

Shah Rukh, currently enjoying the success of his film “Fan”, says he tries his best to pick different roles as an actor.

He said: “I think in the last four to five years, I have heard so many people telling me that I am doing the same stuff… that I started believing that I do the same stuff. I as an actor try to keep it different for me. I just know what I can do and what I am offered and within that offering I try to be different.”

Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Phantom and Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan was heckled at Karachi airport on April 27 for making ‘anti-Pakistan’ films.

Kabir Khan was in Karachi on day-long visit to attend a conference and was heading to Lahore. But as soon as the director arrived at the Quaid-e-Azam international airport in Karachi, a few people encircled him and started shouting slogans ‘Shame Shame’.

Watch the video:

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHDjlkURdxo&w=640&h=390]

Demonstrators shouting anti-India slogans mobbed the Bollywood director, loudly asking him why he did not make movies depicting the role played by the Indian intelligence agency RAW in Pakistan.

The angry protesters shouted ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and anti-India slogans while confronting the director as he walked
into the departure lounge.

The director had defended his film during the seminar, insisting people misunderstood its purpose as he highlighted
the role of bad elements in both countries.

Kabir Khan’s films like Phantom, Ek Tha Tiger were banned in Pakistan at the time of their release.”Phantom”, based on a novel by S. Hussain Zaidi, was banned by the Lahore High Court.

Starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, “Phantom” is about a retired Indian Army officer who leads a mission to kill Pakistani terrorist leader Hafiz Saeed.

Kabir Khan’s “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” received a warm response in Pakistan, where Indian movies are always in great demand.

Tiger Shroff is known as a great dancer courtesy his flexible moves in “Heropanti” and various online videos, and the actor says he wishes to open a dance school to train talent across the country.

The young actor is not a fan of various dance competition shows and thinks an institute would be a better platform for budding performers.

“I wanted to open up a dance school for everybody including the underprivileged. There’s so much talent in India that goes unnoticed,” Tiger told PTI in an interview.

“People have to pave their way through dance competitions, which I am totally against of. If I am able to make a name for myself then I will surely open a dance school.”

When it comes to his inspiration as a dancer, the 26-year-old looks up to superstar Hrithik Roshan and finds his dancing effortless.

“Whenever I meet him, I ask him so many questions about his career, how he prepares for his songs. I always tell him, ‘Sir, every time I see you in a song everything else becomes invisible and I am left looking at you. How do you make look things so easy…?'”

Besides their love for dance, Tiger says they both share similar philosophies about life and career.

“We have a similar mindset. We are very hard on ourselves. Our philosophies are somewhat similar regarding life and careers, so along those lines we talk… We usually talk about fitness.”

The actor, meanwhile, is excited about his upcoming release, Sajid Nadiadwala’s “Baaghi”. Tiger says that the film has the potential of becoming a “cult” action movie.

“‘Baaghi’ gave me a lot of scope to perform, never seen before action and not just nonsensical fighting. There is a strong emotional content in it, which drives the action forward.

“I want the audience to whistle and cheer for me in the film, for what I am fighting for… I have worked hard to make it look like a spectacle but I want the emotional quotient to come even stronger.”

The actor feels the action in the film is unlike other movies, where the hero punches the main villain and 10 other goons go flying in the air.

Tiger says that Indian audience needs to be presented with authentic action movies.

“I think we are trained to see hero punch one and 10 others go flying in the air, we are used to seeing heroes bounce villains on the floor like a basketball. I find that little nonsensical. I understand that if it is done in a comic way. If it’s done in a humorous way, it is okay but that isnot something I like to do.”

Post his next project, which is a superhero film, the actor is going to take a break from the action genre.

“For now, ‘Baaghi’ is the best I could offer in terms of action to my audience. I don’t think I will get something like this easily again. Till then, I don’t see myself doing anything in that direction.”

Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, the Sabbir Khan-directed film releases this Friday, April 29.

Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor-starrer “Baaghi” appears to be a heavy-duty action drama but director Sabbir Khan says the film’s story is inspired by mythology epic “Ramayana”.

Sabbir says the idea came to him after he watched 2004 Telugu film “Varsham” on the insistence of producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

“Sajid showed me Telugu film ‘Varsham’, of which he also has the rights. I watched it and told him that it is redundant today and the only thing that excited me about it was that it was an adaption of Ramayana,” Sabbir told PTI in an interview.

“So, I thought what if we adapt the Ramayana today, it will make for an exciting film. It took us nine months to write the script. So, ‘Baaghi’ is my version of the Ramayana combined with very strong love story and great action…,” the director said.

Sabbir does not mind that audience is not much aware of the “Ramayana” inspiration behind “Baaghi” and is more excited about Tiger-Shraddha’s on screen pair and the action sequences.

“People think it’s an action film and I don’t want to change that because action and music are universal and all of us enjoy that. It’s only now that the promotions have started that I am talking about this aspect.”

The director wants “Baaghi” to be a trend-setter for action movies.

“We wanted to push boundaries. We wanted people to remember the action in the film for years to come. So, my hero does not carry any weapon, there are no cars flying… We made things difficult for ourselves but just to give audience a never-seen-before action film.”

Also starring Telugu actor Sudheer Babu, the movie hits theatres this Friday.

Tiger Shroff, Baaghi, Tiger Shroff Baaghi, Tiger Shroff news, Entertainment news Tiger Shroff’s remark that he likes girls who are “housewife-type” has been slammed for being sexist.

Tiger Shroff’s remark that he likes girls who are “housewife-type” has been slammed for being sexist and the actor in his defence today said he respects his mother and sister too much to say something like that.

In an interview to an online portal, Tiger discussed about the qualities he would want in his partner and revealed that he would prefer a stay-at-home girl from a village, who would “keep the house clean and give me home-cooked food.”

“I will get married to a girl from the village… When I reach home, I want a massage so that I can get relaxed (sic). I like girls who are the housewife-type,” he had said.

However, the “Heropanti” star’s comments did not go down well with many, who took to social media to mock the actor for his comments.

Post the backlash, Tiger, 26, was quick to respond to the criticisms and took to Twitter to clarify himself.

He, however neither denied the comments nor clearly admitted to have said it.

“I am totally for women empowerment and equality and always talk about how they are as strong or stronger than men,” Tiger wrote.

“I respect my mother and sister too much to say something like that.

“I know I’m barely a year old in the industry but for those who know me and who have accepted me you would know. Anyway love always,” the “Baaghi” star posted.
