Salman Khan had one of the most difficult times of his career while shooting in a langot in Sultan. The macho superstar who is known for his shirtless avatars admitted to feeling violated while walking out in a langot on the sets of Sultan.
Revealing the same at Sultan’s trailer launch, Salman said, “Wearing a langot was the most difficult thing for me in the movie. I can now understand how difficult it is for actresses to wear swimsuit and shorts.”

The actor also reminisced about the time when a cheering crowd of 5000 people at a spot screaming ‘Bhai Bhai’ made him have second thoughts about wearing a langot and shooting. Finally when Salman made strong his resolve to wear one, he made sure to warn everyone on sets to not laugh or tease on seeing him in the wrestling undergarment. That the warning had no effect on junior artists is another story. Girls wearing ghoonghat shouted ‘Aye Haye’ when Salman took appeared in his langot.
“While I was walking from my van to the shooting spot, there were tears in my eyes. I felt violated. You ask me to go shirtless or wear a short, I will never be ashamed but wearing a langot was difficult. Thank god people got used to the visual later on,” narrated Salman.
