If it’s a Salman Khan film, expect only and only Salman to rock and roll. Sultan looks no different. Bollywood’s most love Bhai rocks each and every frame of Sultan. Right from his classy swagger, the twirling of his moustache to beating his thighs, it is Salman all the way.
The story is weaved around the rise, fall and rise of Sultan. For Salman, Sultan gives an opportunity to play a character onscreen sans his usual Salmanism which would be a treat to watch yet again after Bhajrangi Bhaijaan. The man has evidently put in a lot of hard work to get into the skin of the ageing 40 plus wrestler and that deserves an applause.
On the flip side, the film seems to be heavily dependent on Salman. Anushka’s appearance in the trailer is limited to a few sequences only romantic and otherwise. One will have to wait and watch if the actress has been offered a role of girth in the film. Ditto for actors like Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh who too make fleeting appearances.

There are a few mixed martial arts styled slow motion punches Salman is seen throwing in which is nothing new. The wrestling moves are the ones we have already witnessed in the earlier released teaser. Perhaps YRF is saving the best for the film.
