Director Kabir Khan, who was heckled today by shoe brandishing Pakistani protestors at Karachi airport, has asked media to ignore the protestors.
Terming them as screaming lunatics, Kabir Khan tweeted, “To media on both sides: 12 screaming lunatics with mobile phone cameras is not news. Please don’t give them the attention they want. Ignore.”

In a video on Pakistan website Dawn.com, Kabir Khan is seen facing vociferous protests from a dozen of Pakistani people who raised loud slogans against the Bollywood director for making films which they felt bashed Pakistan.
Shame on you,’ shouted the protestors as Kabir Khan silently made his way into the airport precincts. At one point, Kabir can be heard speaking to one the protestors but to no avail. As Kabir made his way towards the airport departure entrance, a man brandished his shoe in front of the director’s face while shouting slogans. The protests died down once Kabir safely walked inside the airport.
