From meeting the fans to dancing at colleges, talking to press and shopping at local markets of the capital, the lead actors of the film indulged in various promotional activities which might have just gone overboard. It is the box office number that speaks of the films, and this film, which is set in the beautiful locales of Kashmir seems to have lost its charm somewhere. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the day one figures. He tweeted:

Indian Express critic, Shalini Langer in her review wrote, “Fitoor spares no one, not Kashmir, not Delhi, not London, not artists, and not even poor Pakistan, which somehow finds its way into this tale essentially about love traversing social divides. The film clashed on the box office with another love story Sanam Re. Since it is Valentine’s week, both the directors Abhishek Kapoor and Divya Khosla Kumar decided to face off with each other at the box office.
