Deepika Padukone, who reached Canada recently for the filming of her Hollywood debut ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’, has begun shooting for the film. Her co-star from the film Vin Diesel, who plays the titular role ofXander, shared a picture of the two from the film’s sets much to the delight of her fans back home.
Deepika, who had left for Canada recently to join the cast of xXx, had been training hard for her role. She trained under celebrity trainer Yasmi Karachiwala. Deepika, 30, who had recently met Vin Diesel to discuss the film with him, said the “Fast & Furious” star is a generous person.

Diesel is back as Cage who returns to the National Security Agency after an eight-year absence in the movie, which also stars Nina Dobrev, Samuel L. Jackson, Ruby Rose, Jet Li and Tony Jaa. The film will release some time next year.
