Salman Khan is on a career high with Sultan. As his film co-starring Anushka Sharma breaks records, Salman Khan refused to appear in front of Maharashtra State Commission for Women in regard of his ‘rape comment’ on Thursday.
Citing MSCW’s lack of jurisdiction in the case, Salman replied to the commission’s notice via his legal team. Explaining his strenuous training during Sultan, Salman had said he “felt like a raped woman.”

While most of the Bollywood had refused to speak against Bhai, Sultan’s Aarfa Anushka Sharma was among the exceptions. She told film critic Anupama Chopra during an interview: “We obviously understand that it was rather insensitive. People must have realised that this is not a word that can be used so loosely. All of us, not just celebrities, have a responsibility towards what they speak.”
