Akshay Kumar unveils song Rustom Vahi, almost gives away the entire film: Watch video

Action star Akshay Kumar is all set to enthral audiences with his upcoming film, Rutom. After the powerful trailer of the movie, the film’s new song ‘Rustom Vahi’ also looks promising. The suspense and thrill, which is the essence of the film, seems into this two-minute song effortlessly.

After giving fans a taste of patriotism at the start of the year with Airlift, Akshay will be seen donning a naval uniform in Rustom as he plays Commander Rustom Pavri.

Akshay took to Twitter to unveil the new song with caption: Jo Jeeta Yahan Hai, #RustomVahi, a song which perfectly brings out the essence of #Rustom! Check it out.

The song showcases the plot of the film, which is based on the sensational Nanavati case of 1959 where a naval officer was tried by a jury for killing his wife’s lover. The song is rendered by Sukriti Kakar and Raghav Sachar.

The film’s tagline is ‘3 shots that shocked the nation.’

Actress Ileana D’Cruz plays Akshay’s wife in the film. Actor Arjan Bajwa is also seen in the film, while Esha Gupta is seen playing his sister.

Earlier a romantic track from the film, Tere Sang Yaara, which features film’s leads, Akshay and Ileana, was also launched.

The film also brings back the jodi of Akshay and director Neeraj Pandey, who is producing the film after the much-acclaimed Baby in 2015.

Directed by debutant Tinu Suresh Desai, Rustom will clash in theatres with Hrithik Roshan, Pooja Hegde-starrer Mohenjo Daro.
