Alia Bhatt is a fan of Deepika Padukone’s empowering Nike ad

Deepika Padukone has got herself two new fans, Alia Bhatt and Shruti Seth, after becoming a part of the ‘Da Ding’ campaign for Nike. The high-intensity ad landed on our phones on Monday when we were in sore need of motivation.

Alia was among those who was hit by the intensity of the ad. “This new #NIKE TVC is just too good!!!Wohoo girl power… Love it!!! Such beautiful girls..Da da ding da da ding da ding💃💃 @deepikapadukone,” she wrote on Twitter.

The video has Deepika — along with a range of competitive, fierce and driven female sportspersons. From cricketers to boxers to a gang of girls playing football, the commercial captures the mood of women as they come out to play, and to win.

While sharing the Nike Women video, Deepika wrote on Facebook, “When I was growing up, my father said to me, ‘…always remember the three D’s – Discipline, Dedication and Determination.’ Sport has taught me how to handle failure. It has also taught me how to handle success. And so I want to say to every girl and every boy and every woman and every man…play a sport…because it changed my life…and it will change yours too!”
