Kabir Khan was reportedly heckled at the Karachi airport in late April this year for making anti-Pakistani films. A month later, there were reports that Boman backed out of a Pakistani film, as a show of solidarity and support for Khan.

When asked about incident involving Khan, Boman expressed surprise and said: “I came to know about it later on.”

The Pakistani film was to be directed by Azaan Sami Khan, who was co-producing the project with actress Zeba Bakhtiar. Even Azaan had stated that Boman couldn’t do the film due to date issues.

Boman was recently seen in the comedy “Housefull 3”.
