An advocate has filed a petition against actress Jacqueline Fernandes and Dishoom producer Sajid Naidiawala for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.
Lawyers for Humanity, through its advocate Ravinder Singh, stated in the petition that the actress is seen wearing a kirpan in a ‘derogatory’ manner in her next film, Dishoom, and sought a case be registered under Section 295A of the IPC.
Dishoom, which is slated to release on July 29, also features John Abraham, Saqib Saleem and Jacqueline in pivotal roles.
