Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s wedding to Delhi-based Mira Rajput was one of the most talked-about events of 2015. Shahid and Mira tied the knot in a low-key gurdwara on July 7. While the couple’s big fat wedding has definitely been a fairytale dream, here is an interesting trivia that Shahid fans didn’t know about.
When Shahid had met Mira’s father for the first time, the actor was in his look of Udta Punjab donning a rockstar loose t-shirt, shorts, sporting his long locks and boots. He was pleasantly surprised to see Shahid in this attire during their first meeting that took place at the Delhi farm house. He later realized that Shahid was absorbing the character of his forthcoming film.
“Shahid first met Mira’s father at the Delhi farmhouse when he was in the attire of his look for his forthcoming film. It was great to see Mira’s father reaction on it,” Shahid’s spokeperson said.
Shahid is currently busy promoting his upcoming film. He plays the role of a Punjab rockstar Tommy Singh in the film.
Udta Punjab is based on the lives of four individuals played by Shahid, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh, who are affected by drug abuse prevalent in Punjab.
Udta Punjab is all set to rock theatres on June 17.
