Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has always surprised audiences with his varied roles, which have shown off the actor’s prowess on screen. He has nailed some difficult roles in stellar movies such as Manjhi: The Mountain Man, Gangs of Wasseypur, Badlapur, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and many others. And once again, the actor is all set to come back onto the big screen with a power-packed performance. But behind all these impactful performances, there is a lot of dedication and hard work that no one knows.
It once happened that, while shooting for Raman Raghav 2.0, Nawazzudin Siddique had to deliver a ten minute long monologue, which was shot from 10 different angles. To maintain continuity, Nawaz had to be stationed at the same place while the camera setup was changed. As a result Nawaz ended up speaking for 300 minutes at the same position, keeping the tone and style the same and giving his best every time.
However, the entire process did take a toll on Nawaz, as at the end of it all, he experienced a total blackout and couldn’t talk for sometime.
Nawazuddin will be seen playing the role of a notorious serial killer Ramanna in Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming psychological thriller Raman Raghav 2.0. Sharing the screen space will be Masaan fame Vicky Kaushal, who plays the role of a drug addict cop.
Recently, Raman Raghav 2.0 was screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in which it received a standing ovation during its premiere.
Raman Raghav 2.0 all set to hit theaters on June 24.
