
Hollywood movies continue to dominate Bollywood movies and are taking Indian box office by storm. After The Jungle Book, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Kung Fu Panda 3, Deadpool, Captain America: Civil War, the latest Hollywood movie that stands out in the Indian market is Marvel’s ninth instalment in the X-Men series. X-Men: Apocalypse, which released on Friday, has overpowered Bollywood’s big release Sarbjit, directed by Mary Kom fame Omung Kumar starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda, and has performed better on the opening day. The movie, which opened to 50 percent occupancy across India, has minted Rs. 4.51 cr. on the first day of its release at the box office. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared X-Men: Apocalypse first day collections on Twitter.
