The song which stars Alia Bhatt, also features Diljit, who can be seen singing at a restaurant.
Diljit is very happy to lend his voice to Shri Shiv Kumar Batalvi’s poem ‘Ikk Kudi’ in his debut Hindi film and he hopes that the audience likes it.
“I was extremely glad to know that Shri Shiv Kumar Batalvi’s poem ‘Ikk Kudi’ would be featured in my debut Hindi film. More than that, I am so excited and happy that I got to sing it. It was really an experience which will always be special for me. I hope people like the song as much as I do.” Diljit Dosanjh said.

Diljit, who will be seen essaying the role of a tough cop of Punjab, has been receiving great response for his character in the film.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Phantom Productions, Udta Punajb is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and is set to release on June 17. It also features Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.
