The official trailer of Anurag Kashyap’s Raman Raghav 2.0 has been released, and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui strikes back with a solid return on the big screen.
Right from the beginning of the trailer, Nawazuddin, who plays the role of serial killer Ramanna, takes charge with his outstanding performance — narrating details about his brutal killings and attacking his victims in front of a cop at a police station. As dangerous as he looks, Nawazuddin has nailed this role, bringing out something unexpected in him.

Vicky Kaushal’s performance as a drug addict cop named Raghavan, who is going through emotional and mental problems in his life, also shows promise. In the trailer, Raghavan is shown taking charge of the investigation to hunt down Ramanna, and identifying the reason behind these brutal murders.

The character, and the film, takes inspiration from the real-life 1960s’ serial killer Raman Raghav, who operated in Mumbai.
The trailer shows how Ramanna’s strange obsession with Raghavan keeps growing as he closely follows him without his knowledge and often creates situations where both of them come face to face, creating much drama in this cat and mouse chase game.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Raman Raghav 2.0 will release on June 24.
