
Actress Jacqueline Fernandez was recently at the European Parliament to deliver a lecture on housing and human development. She has been helping the Chennai flood affected people recently and has joined an NGO for the same. She has been trying her best lately to build houses for the victims.
Jacqueline joined hands with the NGO, Habitat for Humanity and they in unison launched a relief Campaign ‘Jacqueline Builds’. She herself went to Chennai to meet the victims and help them manually in building their houses. She has been associated with the NGO for over five years now.
On the success of helping victims by building homes, she was invited to give a talk at the European Parliament.
The European Parliament is the parliament of the European Union (EU).
The event brought together Members of European Parliament, high level policymakers, diplomats, civil society and media in a group of around 60 persons.
