It was a sight to behold when at the recently held Screen Awards, veteran actress Rekha hugged Jaya Bachchan after Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor trophy.
Rekha and Jaya Bachchan were seated in the same row just a few seats away from each other and unlike the past there was absolutely no animosity this time when they met. However, what came as a pleasant surprise to not just Jaya Bachchan but even others present was when Rekha almost sprinted to Jaya when Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor award. As soon as the legendary actor’s name was announced, Rekha stood up and flashed a bright happy and proud smile and dashed off to Jaya Bachchan who was seated a few seats away. Arriving near Jaya, Rekha opened up her arms to embrace Big B’s wife taking the latter by a complete surprise. Thankfully, Jaya too reciprocated with equal warmth and hugged Rekha.
