IN A new turn in the legal spat between actors Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan, the former’s lawyer has shot off a letter to the Mumbai police commissioner alleging circulation of her private photographs and emails to “third parties” by the latter.
In the letter, lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui has tried to draw the attention of the police towards “alleged demonstration and/or circulation of my client Kangana Ranaut’s absolutely private and confidential emails as well as photographs etc. by Mr Hrithik Roshan to non-concerned third parties, thereby wilfully outraging my client’s modesty and imputing unchastity to her”.
He also said Roshan had “criminally threatened” Ranaut with these actions in his notice to her, and asked the police to “prevent cognizance of any such offence if the same has yet not been blatantly committed”.

The legal tussle between the two actors began when Roshan sent a notice to Ranaut asking for an apology for calling him her “silly ex”, to which the latter responded with another notice — charging her former co-star with intimidation.
Roshan claims to have received “50 emails” per day from Ranaut despite not having had a relationship with her, while the Queen actor has maintained that the two were in a consensual relationship, which was kept under wraps so as to not jeopardise Roshan’s divorce from his then wife Sussanne Khan.
