Directed by Sudha Kongara, “Saala Khadoos” is about a rustic fisherwoman, played by Ritika Singh, who R.Madhavan’s character, a boxing coach, grooms into a match-winning boxer.
Ritika couldn’t hold back her tears at the screening held on Friday (January 22). “Everyone was crying, so even I got emotional,” she said.
Shilpa simply “loved the movie”. “Everyone was crying. Maddy (Madhavan) especially was outstanding,” added the actress and entrepreneur.
Dia, who made her Bollywood debut with Madhavan-starrer “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein”, said: “It’s a classic Rajkumar Hirani film. Maddy is sexier in the movie.”
“Saala Khadoos” is Rajkumar Hirani’s first home production and he said he saw “Maddy and Ritika crying in the corner. The comment my mother gave me was the best compliment for the film.”
Celebrities like Aanand L. Rai and Kangana Ranaut were also spotted at the screening.
