Kareena Kapoor is someone who has never bothered about having six packs or a toned body. Ofcourse, it helps that she is genetically blessed with good looks. While there was a time when Kareena had gone size zero for a role, the actress has never been an advocate of the so-called six-pack fitness routine that some of the other divas practise and preach.

When asked if focus in Bollywood today has shifted from acting to bodybuilding, Kareena said, ” Yes, ofcourse. All our heroes and heroines are busy in building six-packs. Pilates, six pack, eight pack and things like that have become the buzzword. Kareena however, finds it difficult to pinpoint the reason behind this shift in focus from acting to looks. “I don’t think it’s got to do with pressure from the industry. May be trainers have become more. You have to decide what you want to do. This is the kind of film that I want to be a part of. I don’t know why the focus has shifted. Physicality and physical appearance is important. Looking good is a part of the job. It is a visual medium but it is not necessary everyone should have a six-pack for that.”
Kareena Kapoor will be seen in Ki and Ka, which releases on April 1.
