Neel Sethi was hand-picked by director Jon Favreau from over 2,000 hopefuls to play the role of Mowgli in The Jungle Book. The 12-year-old actor will visit India later this month to present the film.
The New York City-based actor is the only human being in this live-action epic film, which releases on April 8, a week of hitting the theatres in America.
“We are thrilled that Neel is starting the film’s campaign with India,” says Amrita Pandey, Vice President – Studios, Disney India.
