Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin, who recently featured in a romantic short film “Road Trip”, says that he has received compliments from people saying that they prefer him as a “lover boy”.
Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin, who recently featured in a romantic short film “Road Trip”, says that he has received compliments from people saying that they prefer him as a “lover boy”.
“One of the biggest compliments I got was people who say that ‘we prefer him like this, we like to see the lover boy’ because as an actor when you’re trying a different genre, you are always a bit sceptical if people will like it or not,” Tahir said.
Tahir featured opposite Nimrat Kaur in the short film for Y Films, which was the first from the set of six short stories called “Love Shots”.
Tahir’s romantic character in the film was a deviation for him, considering his role of a girl trafficker in “Mardaani”.
“When ‘Mardaani’ came out, one of the great compliments was that we hated the character but we loved the guy. So that was a great compliment to get, especially from female fans. In real life I’m shy sometimes, sometimes I’m romantic, sometimes I can be funny, so it’s great to be doing different kinds of parts that expose your personality,” he said.
